With Let's Go Outside & Learn 2018
This year we are working in parks across Hounslow and Richmond with individuals and community groups hosting regular gentle walking sessions and outdoors activities
in local green spaces. There are so many benefits to being outdoors from social opportunities to emotional and physical wellbeing. People who would not normally go for a walk have been out and
about enjoying the local park and green spaces near their homes. We are keen to hear from anyone interested in joining us or referring individuals to come along. Please take a minute or two to watch

Road Safety Training for Older and Vulnerable Road Users
We continue to offer awareness raising sessions for older road users in the London Borough of Hounslow. We support older road users to develop healthy habits and
become aware of the challeges that being out and about can pose. Feedback has been very positive. This year we have already reached out to over 300 older participants who have given us very positive
We also delivered Walk to School Week Assemblies across Hounslow in May and June 2017. Last year the theme was Walking from City to Seashore and we were accompanied
by Debra the Zebra as always who brings a smile to the primary school pupils while delivering a very serious message. We visited over 34 schools this summer! This year the theme is Walking Roots so
we will be really looking forward to thinking about nature on our walk to school in the summer term.

Author Visit & Workshops in Schools & Playgroups
Where is The Hedgehog?
We have been out and about this term visiting schools across London and Surrey with our hedgehog road show.
This workshop is suitable for Pre- School, Nursery & Key Stage 1 and offers a lively interactive teaching and learning session where pupils can learn about
hedeghogs and how they can help them survive.

We are delighted to be continuing our work as part of the newly formed Community Interest Company Let's Go Outside and Learn.
This organisation is working to deliver outdoor learning across schools and communities around west London and beyond.
We recently set up and delivered after school, curriculum linked environment clubs exploring the wonders of nature and the marvels of the great outdoors.
This year we are extending our offer to enable young carers and older individuals and groups to join us in appreciating their local parks and natural green
We also successfully bid for funding to support marginalised groups in LB Hounslow to visit local green spaces and appreciate nature as well as benefit from all the
health aspects associated with being outdoors.

Fantastic Training Sessions for Midday Supervisors & TA's
We continue to deliver training courses to Midday supervisors, TA's and support staff across London in partnership with Train with Inspire. Feedback on the delivery
and content of the sessions has been extremely positive.
